The course consists of 72 teaching hours split into 6 weekends (1 weekend per month). Each day is divided into theory, demonstration and practice sessions with the focus very much on hands-on learning. Course numbers are limited to 10 participants to ensure expert one to one guidance is given by your teachers, Chantal and Gareth. You’ll be surprised at how much you learn over the weekends and how it all pieces together to form a wonderful therapeutic treatment!
Our venue for the course it at the warm and friendly Cheltenham Holistic Health Centre, Camargue House, 32 Wellington Rd, Cheltenham GL52 2AG. There’s free parking close by and it’s a short 10 minute walk into central Cheltenham for shops and cafes but feel free to bring your own lunch and snacks as we have access to the well equipped kitchen.
Whilst students are more than welcome to attend the course for their own development (a certificate of attendance will be issued), those wishing to practice professionally will be required to undertake the following to a satisfactory standard:
30 documented full massage case studies (60 hours in total)
An essay of circa 1500 words on a topic related to Thai yoga massage
An observed practical examination
A short answer written theory test
COST: £1120
Exam fee £TBC (based on a minimum of 4 people taking the exam)
£250 deposit required with the balance payable in instalments over the 6 month teaching course.
